The masterpiece

Atmospheres is a collection inspired by architecture, movement and geometric shapes. It all starts with the concept developed by the architect Peter Zumthor, who states that when he creates a work of architecture he must give it an atmosphere, which is defined by several important points.

Each work chosen, and shown below, has its own atmosphere, developed and abstracted by me, in order to create unique pieces. However, this aesthetic category goes beyond that, and the main objective of these designs is to demonstrate how to go from inhabiting a space, to the space inhabiting you.

It is a collection of much abstraction, analysis and depth that seeks to propose a new way of designing from other sciences and creative arts, thus merging the process of landing an idea and turning it into something unique, transcendent, useful and extremely beautiful.

The six Atmospheres

  • La Fábrica by Ricardo Bofill
  • The Getty Center by Richard Meier
  • La Cineteca Nacional by Manuel Rocha and Michel Rojkind
  • The Luxembourg Philharmonic by Christian de Portzamparc
  • The Whitney Museum by Renzo Piano
  • The City of Arts and Sciences by Santiago Calatrava

Exploring the intersection of architecture, sustainability, and fashion, Atmospheres is a deeply conceptual thesis collection that redefines the relationship between the individual and their environment.

Inspired by the transition between inhabiting a space and being inhabited by it, this collection considers clothing as an extension of one’s home — a personal atmosphere.

The architectural influence is woven into every detail, from fabric selection to form. structured yet fluid silhouettes echo the interplay of rigid architectural elements and organic human interaction.

Sustainable fabrics — carefully selected for their natural, tactile qualities — further reinforce this narrative, embodying a respect for both the wearer and the environment.

The collection highlights

  • flowing drapes mirror dynamic light transitions.
  • geometric structures evoke the solidity and fluidity of built spaces.
  • negative space in designs creates interplay between exposure and enclosure, similar to architectural thresholds

Skills Demonstrated

  • conceptualization: Synthesizing architecture and fashion into a cohesive collection.
  • material innovation: Experimenting with unconventional textiles and techniques to push creative boundaries.
  • execution: Delivering a polished, wearable collection that maintains artistic depth.

this collection stands as a testament to my ability to bridge disciplines, blending the aesthetic and philosophical aspects of architecture with the tactile and personal nature of fashion. It’s a celebration of clothing not just as an accessory but as an experiential space that connects the wearer to their environment.
