The art of deconstruction
This piece was created from the deconstruction of one of my dad’s suits. It is a personal and sentimental piece that connects us in a completely different way.
I deconstructed the suit in a way that could show that I followed my path, my dreams. I always tried to surpass the expectations I had of myself, but I realized that by following my path I could surpass them even better, by being myself.
Simbolism & detail
The joints are eyelets because they are a metaphor for these holes or voids that I (represented by the button) have tried to fill, they are of different sizes because of the different stages I have had throughout my life.
